Lappia Hall

The architecture of Lappia Hall is unparalleled. It was designed for a diverse range of cultural activities and has housed the Rovaniemi Theatre, Lapland regional radio, and currently hosts the Lapland Music and Dance Institute. One of the hall’s distinctive features is its roof. The gently contoured shapes of the roof resemble the fells of Lapland and can be seen from afar. Aalto designed a metallic edge along the roof’s curves, which glows with the morning sunlight shining from beside the city hall. The arches can be illuminated in different colors, making the building a magnificent sight in the evening.

Lappia Hall’s spaces are adaptable for various events, from fairs to weddings. It has three halls: Kero with 70 seats, Saivo with 150 seats, and Tieva with 386 seats, catering to diverse event needs. Hosting an event at Lappia Hall is an experience and is made easy as we provide all necessary services. We offer venue, technology and sound services, catering, and even entertainment if desired.
