LAURI historical log houses
About
The LAURI log houses are a piece of history in city center of Rovaniemi. These traditional buildings were brought after the war from the Lappish countryside to the city, as entire Rovaniemi was destroyed in World War II. For this reason, this is one of the only places in the city center where you can explore old Finnish architecture. A great instagrammable place for an original photo shooting! In wintertime you may spot a collection of snowmen, and add your own creation to them. Inside there is a traditional handicraft workshop, where you can watch how beautiful items of reindeer antler, wood and leather are being produced.
