Join us for something truly Finnish, an ice fishing trip to the frozen lake. You’ll get to pack your own fishing gear from scratch and choose the winning lure to attract the fish. We make our way to the frozen lake like Finns do, then it’s time to drill a hole to the ice and lower the bate. Lay down on the reindeer skin, enjoy a hot drink by the fire we’ve built for you and simply wait for the perch and other freshwater fish species to hopefully find their way to you!

How do I get to the activity?
If you stay at Apukka Resort:
- Arrive at the meeting point 10 min. before the start of the activity.
If you need transportation:
- The price of the activity includes transfers to and from Apukka Resort with our shuttle bus.
- The bus stops are located at Rovaniemi city center and Santa Claus Village’s bus stop, situated by the main road (Road E75).
- Choose the pick-up point during the booking process.
- You will receive an email with the pick-up details.
- Please be at the bus stop at least 10 minutes before the given departure time.
- The transfer won’t wait, so punctuality is essential!
- If you’re late for the transfer, the tour won’t be refunded.
If you arrive by car:
- You can park your car in Apukka’s parking lot (Tutkijantie 28, Rovaniemi).
- Arrive at least 20 min before the activity starts.
- Pick up your winter gear from the Apukka Adventures dressing room.
- Wait at the meeting point until the tour begins.
