About

This journey begins with a visit to a local reindeer farm located into the Arctic Forest. There you’ll meet the reindeers and the farmers who will tell you all about the lifestyle of these creatures and how their wellbeing is preserved. Afterwards, you’ll experience Santa’s favorite means of transport: a sleigh pulled by reindeers.

Operated in Rovaniemi each year from November 16 to April 12 next year (weather permitting). The minimum number of participants for each activity is 2 adults paying a full price.

Only two people are allowed on each reindeer sleigh (except special circumstances). The duration of this activity is around 1 hour, so we kindly advise you to wear appropriate clothes for Arctic temperatures.

The duration includes the transfer and clothes changing time. The pick-up service is included if the distance from the pick-up point to Rovaniemi city center is within 8km. Thermal overalls, winter boots, winter gloves, woolen socks, helmets and masks are provided.

The meeting time of our safari is always before the starting time of the safari if you need pick-up services. You will receive your meeting time and meeting point upon confirmation or by e-mail. Failure to participate in the safari due to missed meeting time or meeting point will not be refunded.
