Arctic Nature Trips

All riding excursions are suitable for beginners and they can be combined with other Arctic Nature Trips’ services.

Experience the magic of Finnish winter by riding a horse, combine horseback riding with snowshoeing. Discover Lappish forest in a guided horseback riding excursion and enjoy an unforgettable lunch in the middle of nature by open fire. After a wintry riding trip, have a relaxing moment in Finnish sauna – and try ice swimming, if you dare! Two hours horseback riding trip into the forest is available also.

In autumn, witness the beauty of the trees blooming in all shades of orange and yellow when riding a horse in pure Lappish nature. In summer we also offer evening horse back rides and midnight sun rides.

Winter time stables are in the Sea-Lapland area, about 150 km from Rovaniemi to the south. Address: Viantienjoentie 138, 95225 Viantie Simo.

Summer time stables in the weekends in June and July: 2 places closer to Rovaniemi on the island of horses in Meltaus and in Hiansaari. We give the address by a personal message.
