Rovaniemi City’s New Year’s Reception for the Whole Family

The City of Rovaniemi invites all residents and visitors to celebrate the New Year in the heart of Rovaniemi, around the Aalto Center. Let’s make the turn of the year unforgettable for the whole family!

Midnight Fireworks by the Kemijoki River at 12:00 AM

The city-wide fireworks display will take place traditionally at midnight. Rockets will be launched from the swimming beach area. The safest viewing spot is at Pohjanhovi’s riverbank. Parking in the area is limited, so attendees are encouraged to arrive on foot whenever possible.
