Family Snowmobiling
About
Eager to experience your new favorite winter activity in Lapland? Our tour offers the ideal opportunity for laid-back snowmobiling in the wilderness, suitable for both adults and kids! Tailored for families with younger children: while adults drive snowmobiles, kids ride in a heated and covered sled guided by an expert. After the snowmobiling adventure, children can take the wheel of mini snowmobiles in a secure area within the resort. This tour is also perfect for those trying snowmobiling for the very first time. It's time to hop on and start exploring the snow-covered landscapes of Lapland!

On this tour, adults always share a snowmobile, while children (4-14 yo) and infants (0-3 yo) join the safari on a heated sled that is behind the guide’s snowmobile. We highly recommend one of the parents sit with a small child in the sled for the child’s comfort and safety.
If a child over 140 cm wishes to sit in a snowmobile as a passenger, a full adult price will be charged. In this case, you need to book the child as an adult!
The mini snowmobile is suitable for children aged 5 to 10, with a weight limit of 50 kg. The child must be capable of controlling the mini snowmobile independently. Parents are not allowed to drive the mini snowmobiles with their child due to safety reasons.
The driver of a snowmobile must be at least 18 years old and in possession of a driving license valid in Finland. The snowmobile driver is held liable for any damages caused to the vehicle.
Securing self-liability waiver for your snowmobile prior to the safari minimizes potential self-liability costs to a maximum of 250€ / person/snowmobile/accident, down from the standard 980€ in case of an accident. This waiver is individualized and applicable for a single snowmobile safari.
In our tours, two people generally share a snowmobile, and there's an opportunity to switch drivers at the midpoint. For those who prefer exclusive use of the snowmobile for the entire tour, we offer the single driving supplement.
Special diet options (vegetarian, gluten-free, etc.) are available upon request.
