As you hop on a car to travel the roads of the far up North to find the best locations to spot the Northern Lights, your guide will help you with basic camera settings. As you travel across the arctic landscapes searching for the Auroras, you also have a great chance to learn about Lapland and the life up here from our knowledgeable guide. So, are you ready to hit the road and start the hunt?

The choice of vehicle depends on the group size. A car is used for smaller groups, while a van or a bus is utilized for larger groups.
This tour is organized only when there is a good chance of seeing the Auroras.
Ensure you know how to operate your camera so that we can provide you with tips on photographing the Northern Lights.
Special diet options (vegetarian, gluten-free, etc.) are available upon request.

How do I get to the activity?
If you stay at Apukka Resort:
- Arrive at the meeting point 10 min. before the start of the activity.
If you need transportation:
- The price of the activity includes transfers to and from Apukka Resort with our shuttle bus.
- The bus stops are located at Rovaniemi city center and Santa Claus Village’s bus stop, situated by the main road (Road E75).
- Choose the pick-up point during the booking process.
- You will receive an email with the pick-up details.
- Please be at the bus stop at least 10 minutes before the given departure time.
- The transfer won’t wait, so punctuality is essential!
- If you’re late for the transfer, the tour won’t be refunded.
If you arrive by car:
- You can park your car in Apukka’s parking lot (Tutkijantie 28, Rovaniemi).
- Arrive at least 20 min before the activity starts.
- Pick up your winter gear from the Apukka Adventures dressing room.
- Wait at the meeting point until the tour begins.
